OUR STORY

Amy Conn is the founder of the non-profit A Quality Life Community. Amy has dual Masters Degrees in Special Education and Exercise and Sport Science. She has devoted her life to teaching and researching the benefits of yoga with special populations; specifically, burn and cancer survivors.

Amy is a certified 2000-hour trained National Registered Yoga Instructor and teaches both at the Salt Lake Arts Academy (SLARTS), University Hospital Burn Camp and 21st Yoga. As a breast cancer survivor, Amy's passion work has steadily been with special populations.

Amy is a full-time school teacher with SLARTS teaching 5th grade PE, Yoga and Pilates and as a Community Service Outreach coordinator and Reading Specialist. Although retired from Directing QLC, she still enjoys teaching cancer survivor classes during her 'spare' time!

Amy is the author of Revealing Grace, a story about a cancer adventure and a community. 100% of the proceeds are donated to QLC
